A CAREER FORGED IN THE GAME
Morgan Gilliam's soccer journey began in Texas, where he played under the mentorship of Chris Hayden, now the VP of Player Development at FC Dallas — a coach who instilled the knowledge, discipline, and love for the game that would define Morgan's career. From there, he took his talents to Brigham Young University, competing on the men's soccer team the only college program that played in the USL Premier Development League.
At BYU, Morgan didn't just play — he built. In 2006, he co-founded Calle Street Soccer, the first brand dedicated to street soccer culture. Calle won the prestigious BYU Business Plan Competition in 2007, earning a $52,500 award and national retail placement — proving that Morgan could compete both on and off the pitch.
After working in the MLS front office with Real Salt Lake, Morgan pursued a Master's in Sports Industry Management at Georgetown University, deepening his understanding of the business side of sports. He then returned to Utah to lead events and grassroots marketing for the Utah Youth Soccer Association, impacting thousands of young athletes statewide.
From launching his own coaching programs to co-founding a tech startup and now leading PRFM Sports, Morgan brings a rare blend of player experience, coaching expertise, business acumen, and operational precision to everything he touches.
